Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Cluster prepares students to plan, manage, and provide scientific research and professional and technical services (e.g., physical science, social science, engineering) including laboratory and testing services, and research and development services. The three pathways in this cluster combine hands-on projects and rigorous curriculum to better prepare for challenging postsecondary engineering and technology, drafting and design, and electronics programs. Students are encouraged to take relevant math and science courses, such as advanced algebra, chemistry, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, physics, design, and engineering concepts.
